Yet another day on MC has gone by....not too bad...learnt parallel parking today...interesting experience...its more tricky than i thought.
Still kicking myself over yesterday's blown window of opportunity at Orchard Library. Such is the cruelty of life...the window of opportunity only opens for that precious few minutes, seconds, or just a fleeting moment and its all up to you to seize it. It could well be a life-changing moment. As Al Pacino says in Scent of a Woman, "Some people live a lifetime in a minute." How very apt.
Things like these are, after all, just like a free lottery, as some people say. You've got nothing to lose, but everything to gain. I just can't come to terms with the fact that I had already opened that window, yet backed off at the last minute and allowed it to slam shut in my face. What was I thinking? Why pretend to be uninterested when you actually masterminded the entire set-up? Arggh... regret is a sickening and gut-wrenching feeling which I could do without.
